Adopted

Zhiggy

Hello everyone - it’s been a while since you’ve all heard from me, but that’s because I have been on an unplanned journey to get to my foster-to-adopt home! My foster-to-adopt mom came, along with her daughter, to my foster mom’s house last Saturday. I was very sad to say good-bye to my foster mom, Lisa, she had been so good to me. I hope she knows she will always have a special place in my heart ❤️. We left to go to my foster-to-adopt mom’s daughter’s house for the night before we ventured on the next day to my new home. Well, there was car trouble - a thing called an alternator was acting up. My new mom had to wait until Monday to call about getting it fixed and they didn’t know how long it would take. So, I stayed at her daughter’s house. Her daughter had two dogs who I thought looked very strange - they had long hair - I was polite, didn’t want to hurt their feelings, but I just preferred to be with Emmett, my mom’s dog - he looked like my sister, Zoey. Finally, on Thursday (5 days later) her car was fixed, and we could finally get to my (hopefully) new home. This was my 5th home in 3 ½ weeks that I have been in - can you believe that?! Well, although I have not been here very long, I am having a blast - there are squirrels everywhere! I have been on pretty much constant squirrel patrol! I have found my mission in life - I am going to be a professional squirrel watcher! I’ve kind of taken over the dog bed by the window so I can polish up on my new profession - squirrel watching 🙂. Emmett and I get along great, but I think he’s wondering who I am and what am I doing here? 😂 I really like my foster-to-adopt mom. She said she couldn’t have asked for a better rescue dog than me ❤️! Time will tell, but I am glad I am finally here - it took a while to get here, (I probably shouldn’t say yet) but I think I am in my forever home ❤️. Thank you to everyone in TBVC Rescue that helped to get me here - I love and appreciate every single one of you - Zhiggy ❤️

Thank you Lisa Starr for fostering me and our zone 1 coordinator Sue Towne for finding me a perfect home!

Zhiggy found their forever home! 🎉
