Zoey's 2026 summer Vaca
Zoey left home June 28 and started the journey north to a cottage near Perth, Ontario. Zoey is a perfect traveler. Perfect in restaurants, coffee shops and breweries.
We stopped in Harrisburg and stayed with a friend with a three story house! Stairs! She was a bit tentative going down the first time but caught on. She was a hit in the local coffee shop.
She has spent much time up here off leash. She has paddle boarded, fallen off and while she doesn’t like the water, she is a champ of a swimmer. And, we met another V! Oh, the black squirrels!
We are heading south tomorrow and spending the weekend at Shenandoah NP before getting home Monday. Lots of hiking!
Apollo and Luna 4th of July weekend!
Apollo and Luna here! We had the best July 4th week vacation with our pawrents and friends ❤️💙We got to explore all the sandbars around Bradenton, Long Boat Key, Anna Maria Island, and made our scalloping debut in Crystal River 🦪🏝️
We saw dolphins 🐬 everyday and even a manatee!

Snuggles! 🥰 It’s been chilly for Florida, so there’s been lots of time with the pawrents — and Christmas was extended with new gifts. They love all their new blankies!

He’s no fan of the cold but will not give up his squirrel-watching duties. For context: there are deer just outside the fence in full view. All he worries about are squirrels.

Zoey is so fortunate to live next to a beautiful nature preserve — she walks there most afternoons, usually with dad. Lots of squirrels and critter smells!
Toby earned 2 legs toward his Junior Hunter Advanced title!

After getting hooked on bird hunting at our May Fun Day, Toby trained all summer and earned two Junior Hunter legs in Lake Wales. (Mom Linda and dad Don are also hooked, lol.)
